Scout is a two-sided hiring app: seekers swipe on jobs, employers swipe on candidates, and when both sides like each other, a match opens up the booking flow.

Common questions

How does matching work?

Both sides see ranked suggestions based on role, skills, salary, location, seniority, and (optionally) education. You only see jobs (or candidates) in categories you've said you're interested in. After you swipe right and the other side does too, you match.

How much does Scout cost?

Free for job seekers. Employers pay only when someone is actually hired through Scout — no subscription, no per-seat fee, no charge if no one is hired.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Your data is removed from our systems within 30 days. You can also email us at dbarabi5@gmail.com and we'll do it for you.

How do I report someone?

On any profile or job card, tap the three-dot menu and choose Report. We review every report and act when a report is substantiated.

Where is my data stored?

Encrypted in the EU. We don't sell it, we don't share it with third parties for advertising, and we don't use it to train external AI models. See our privacy policy for details.

I'm an employer — how do I post a job?

After onboarding, open the Employer dashboard and tap "New job." The form has AI-assisted suggestions for description, required skills, and salary range based on the job title.

I'm a job seeker — why am I not seeing jobs?

Three common reasons: (1) your desired-category picks don't overlap with any active job posts in your area; (2) you've already swiped on every active job that matches; (3) there are no employers active in your region yet. We launched recently — give it a few days and try again, or expand your location radius in Settings.
